Self Care 101: Trigger Point Massage for Neck & Shoulders

Are you wishing you could just get a massage right now? 


Join me the first two Tuesdays in June for my Trigger Point Workshop, where you'll learn tips for self-massage (or massage with a partner)!

Using visual aids and a ball, we'll target the specific points in muscles that cause stiffness in the neck, shoulders, lower back, hips, knees and feet. You'll learn to identify trigger points ("microspasms" in muscles), as well as the art of tapotement, and a few key acupressure points. 

The workshop also includes a recording, Q&A and downloadable PDFs.

When:  March 16rd from 7 to 8pm  
             March 23rd  from 7 to 8pm


Cost:   $45 for the workshop (includes recording and visual aids)

Mark brings a lot of knowledge, empathy and precision to his work. I recently participated in his Trigger Point Workshop on Saturday at Liberation Yoga which happens to be my very first yoga related workshop. Let me tell you, for $35, it was worth every dollar and more. It was like self-massage, physical therapy and restorative yoga for one and half plus hours. Everyone knows lacrosse ball and foam rollers do wonders but how much impact do they make in the long term? Mark taught us efficient and effective ways to address pain and injuries on our shoulders, neck, hips using trigger points--with the goal to heal. I'm looking forward to massaging those trigger points with the lacrosse ball, this time, making sure I really do inch my way to recovery.

Mark is an amazing yoga teacher - a wealth of knowledge!! As a yoga teacher and advanced practitioner, I always have tons to learn from his basic level yoga class or teacher training. His cuing makes me become so aware of my body in each pose. I’ve learned a great deal of anatomy and alignment for my teaching as well.
