Self-Care Workshop for Employees

Work doesn't have to be a pain in the neck. The SELF-CARE 101 Wellness Workshops in Central LA are perfect for office workers, hairstylists, makeup artists or anyone who performs repetitive tasks as a part of their job. 

In this 2 hour workshop, we'll focus on:


POSTURE and STRESS RELIEF

Through the use of thoughtful, yoga-based poses that you can easily do at work, you'll learn ways to better your posture and feel stronger and more flexible while unwinding job-related stress in your neck, shoulders, arms, hands, lower back and feet. And the great part is, you don't need a mat, yoga clothes, flexibility or any experience. 


THE ART OF SELF MASSAGE 

The area where you experience pain is typically a symptom and not the source of the problem. When muscles are overworked or strained, they refer pain to other seemingly unrelated areas and can set off a whole constellation of issues. In the self-care workshop you will learn valuable self-massage "hot-spots" that often address the source of your tension, as well as the art of applying appropriate pressure to encourage muscles to relax.  

    

MINDFULNESS

Increase your awareness of how your thoughts, breathing and alignment are connected and how they affect the way you work. 


​Everything you learn in the workshop can be done in regular clothes from the comfort of you station.   A free visual aid download will help you remember what you learned after the workshop is over.
